Well tattoos are generally not pain free. The level of discomfort is minimal, and varies depending on the placement. It is often compared to scratching a sunburn or any small unexpected scratch. Luckily, our bodies come with a built in defense system. After the first couple of minutes, your body’s endorphins flood the area, dulling the effects. All in all most find it is much less painful than they anticipated.

The cost varies depending on the size of your tattoo, the complexity, and where you place it on your body. At Sanctuary we enjoy what we do and try to keep all costs as minimal as possible. We take great pride in being one of the leading shops in inexpensive yet quality driven art. All shops carry a minimum, ours is $50.00, with occasional exceptions to the minimum… on the latter end, our reasonable pricing on larger or more complex tats is noticeable, even eye brow raising, as we work at making tattooing affordable for all.

We have worked long and hard on our aftercare system. It works great, it’s pretty simple and we will be more than happy to teach you all about it when you come get tattooed. You can call us if you need any advise, we would be happy to chat with anyone about proper aftercare.

Ok… while as artists, we take a lot of pride in our custom work, we encourage creativity and welcome outside art as well. If you have a general idea of what you like, we would love to help you to design a work of art all your own. We also carry a compliment of custom and flash art to fulfill every taste and need.

YES! Here at Sanctuary, we thoroughly enjoy helping people restore, enhance, or repair their old art. This is one of our specialties. All restorations are enthusiastically guaranteed. Everyone should have art they could be proud of… let us help you feel that too. Now should you need a cover up.

Are we simply the best at cover ups? Yes. Are we simply the least expensive at cover ups? Yes. Why? Simply… we care. A tattoo that needs to be covered is a tattoo making someone unhappy. At Sanctuary, we simply love the challenge of making new awesome artwork out of an old “REGRAT”. We have never turned down a cover up or met one that is too difficult.
